Porcelain & Soil Pigments

Why should we pay attention to that which becomes still, stagnant, and occasionally simply decorative? But the truth is, the material world is our world. We are just as physical as the objects around us… and so it is materials, such as ceramics, that remind us of this. The ground we walk and feel under our feet, the cities we live within, and the bodies we inhabit that allow us to experience the full spectrum of life… ceramics provide us with insight into these narratives. Through a visual language, ceramics has the power to evoke a deeper understanding of the world around us. The world we occupy.
